Primary Applications:

Dimethyl Carbonate is a main ingredient in the products of other chemicals. It is also excellent at dissolving most coatings and resins.

Industry Uses:

Dimethyl Carbonate is a VOC exempt solvent per EPA. There is interest in this product as a replacement for Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Toluene and other hydrocarbon solvents in various industries:

  • Coatings
  • Adhesives
  • Sealants
  • Elastomers
